Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in New York City on 22 November 1984) The versatility of her work as an actor has garnered her much acclaim for her work in dramas from the past to suspenseful films and adventure. Johansson is the daughter of a filmmaker and an architect. Her family was based in New York City. Hunter was twin to their younger sisters. By the time she was seven, her interest in acting had increased. She began to audition for commercials. She enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly following and then went to the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to further her education. In the Off-Broadway play Sophistry she co-starred with Ethan Hawke. She then made her first film appearance in North (1994) which was directed by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson later appeared in Just Cause (1995) but her breakthrough was Manny & Lo (1996) which was a film about orphaned sisters who run away. Then, she was awarded critical praise for portraying the role of a teenager who suffered an accident that resulted in her being with a blemish on screen in The Horse Whisperer (1998). The film gained her more acclaim for her performance in Ghost World (2002) as the cynical outcast Rebecca. She has given a variety of stunning performances including Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith started her professional career in entertainment from a very young age. While she was still a young child, Smith became interested in the field of acting. Smith got her debut acting job in the age of six with parents' support. The role was in a Dannon yogurt TV commercial. Like many actresses who are new choose to pursue, she decided to build her skills in theater. In addition, she worked on other initiatives across the USA as well, and Wildflower was her first stage show. She was a graduate of her Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
