Alexa is a popular American singer and songwriter. She's the daughter of Billy Joel (a musician) and Christie Brinkley (a model). Joel was raised in New York and has been influenced by her parents' passion for music and fashion. In her early teens she joined a group and gave her first ever live performance at Maxwell's Hoboken New Jersey. Over the next few years, she quickly gained immense fame and became one of the most promising artists of today. Joel's first extended-play Sketches was released in the year 2006. The EP was released by Audio Bee Records helped Joel get her foot in the music business. Since then, she has released numerous singles as well as performed at numerous live shows. Joel, who has worked in the fashion industry from the age of a child she has also appeared at numerous fashion performances. Joel was featured appearing on the BELLA Beauty Issue cover in 2018. Her hospitalization came after ingesting an overdose of Traumeel in December 2009. After a complete and full recuperation, she informed that the media of her intentions to avoid suicide.
